One of my recent musical enthusiasms is Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. I got turned on to them by this blog post, which says why better than I could.
I hunted down a picture that portrays Grace Potter's Rock'n'Roll hotness, what with the Flying Vee and all.

There's another clip of them playing the Portland Alive at Five concert a couple summers ago, but it has all the flaws of the venue (people talking all around you, sound bouncing from every direction, lots of distractions).
Anyway, continuing to play with the possibilities of blogger, I just tried to embed the actual live show OneTallMomma went to, found on the internet archive, but it didn't work, so just click here and go listen to it.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year
old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and
screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
